Payment & Refund Policy

The AFPNEO Chapter accepts credit card, check, and cash payments, and you may pay at the meeting. However, reservations are required, so we may ensure enough food is ordered. Late registrants will be charged an additional $5.00 late fee to cover vendor charges.

Because we have to pay for the food we order, if you make a reservation, you are responsible for the fee even if you do not attend. Cancellations must be received by the posted reservation deadline to be eligible for a refund or non-payment.

About the Panelists

Maureen Ater, Vice President of Marketing & Fund Development, Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio

Maureen AterMaureen is responsible for the advertising, public relations and fundraising of Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, one of the largest non-profits in Northeast Ohio. She serves as the director for The Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill, a collaborative site home to 20 other non-profit organizations. She helps lead donation acquisition efforts across the 10 counties served by Goodwill and has helped lead strategic planning efforts for the agency.

Gina Campbell, MPA, CFRE, Director of Development, Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank

Gina Campbell, CFRELeading a team of 10, Gina is responsible for the Foodbank’s fund development efforts, as well as a robust volunteer program that engages more than 11,000 volunteers each year. Her volunteer work in the community includes WITAN, Leadership Medina County Alumni Education Committee, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and The Salvation Army.

Laura Fink, CFRE, Director of Development and Professional Advisors Relations, Akron Community Foundation

Laura Fink, CFRELaura meets with current and potential fundholders to discover their philanthropic passions and show them how they can do great things through the community foundation. She also leads the professional advisory committee made up of wealth managers, trust officers, attorneys and accountants to increase the exposure of ACF and create giving opportunities that are simple and accessible for fundholders. Laura also maintains a stewardship program to renew and enhance relationships with individual, agency and corporate donors.

Dan Blakemore, CFRE, Development Director, Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (moderator)

Dan Blakemore, CFREDan Blakemore, CFRE is Director of Development at the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. In this role he manages the growing Development Department and holds primary responsibility for corporate sponsorships, major gifts, special events and planned giving. A seasoned fundraising professional, Dan sits on the AFPNEO Board of Directors and is an active volunteer with CFRE International.
