2021 Chamberlain Scholar
Congratulations to our Chamberlain Scholarship winner Cynthia Sheeks, Director of Development, The University of Akron. As chair of APNEO's IDEA committee, she is eager to network with other networking professionals to discuss ideas she can bring back to our Chpater. Cynthia will represent our Chapter at the AFP ICON from June 28-30, 2021, and select from attending the conference in Minneapolis or online.
Scholarship Policy
The AFP Northeast Ohio Chapter fosters the professional development of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession. It is the Chapter’s policy to use a portion of our net assets to offer scholarships for fundraising professionals in the eight counties we serve to increase their professionalism, knowledge, and skills by attending professional development meetings and conferences.
Scholarship Procedures
- To be considered for an award, each applicant must submit a completed application prior to the deadline.
- The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and make award decisions. Both winners and alternates may be selected.
- Awards may be for the full amount requested or a portion thereof.
- Payment of an award is conditional on the recipient fulfilling the obligation for which the award is made. If a recipient cannot use the scholarship, it may be awarded to an alternate.
