Anne BitongAnne Bitong currently serves as the President of The Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation and as Executive Director of the Akron Marathon. As Executive Director, Anne has the overall responsibility for the largest, single-day sporting event in the city of Akron. Anne has been a vital part of the marathon since its inaugural year in 2003, joined the staff in 2006 as the Marketing Director and was appointed President in 2008. Under Anne's leadership, the Akron Marathon expanded to the Akron Marathon Race Series in 2015 to grow overall annual participation as well as attract participants of all fitness levels. The 3-part Race Series offers distances ranging from 1-mile to the marathon and follows a typical training schedule leading up to the marquee race-The Akron Marathon. In 2016, the Race Series witnessed over 20,000 participants and generated an annual economic impact of $8 million to the Greater Akron Area.


Kevin CrumKevin Crum manages Crum & Company, CPA's, a local specialty provider of professional services to the non-profit sector in our community. The firm services a large of non-profit organizations throughout Northeast Ohio, including those in social services, education, healthcare, performance and visual arts, housing, religious organizations, political organizations, member organizations, business associations, foundations and many others.



Mella CastnerMella A. Castner has over 35 years of development experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations. Currently serves as Director of Development or for the Akron Rotary Camp. Previous development positions include Summa Foundation, Hattie Larlham Foundation and Junior Achievement in Akron. She is also an active volunteer board member and past President with the Association of Fundraising Professionals of North Central Ohio Chapter, an organization that fosters the development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession; a volunteer board member with WITAN – Women In Touch With Akron’s Needs, which provides fundraising expertise to multiple community area non-profits; and an active member of the Rotary Club of Akron.
